Re: Satterfield- ACC Coach of the Year
It would be really cool if Satt (and some of his staff) were in attendance on Satterday for the SB Championship to root on his former players, possibly even have him give the pre-game motivation speech. Maybe do an announcement on the big screen to congratulate him on his COY award in between quarters.

Louisville would never allow it and I don't think I would want him there anywaymoonshine wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2019 10:43 amIt would be really cool if Satt (and some of his staff) were in attendance on Satterday for the SB Championship to root on his former players, possibly even have him give the pre-game motivation speech. Go back into the hole from whence you came.NewApp wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 4:10 pmBeauFoster wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 10:55 amJust saw the announcement. Very well deserved honor and I'm happy for his success. Once a Mountaineer, always a Mountaineer (unless you damage the brand, then you might as well be a catamount).
He's a Cardinal, no matter how much we wish otherwise. He chose there. He coaches there. He is paid there. He lives there. Nuff said.

Umm. What did I say that was incorrect?. Didn't need a personal attack just because some on here still have a fetish for a man who chose money over his heritage and loyalty. I wish him well, but am not gullible enough to still call him a mountaineer. He ain't. He's a former Mountaineer only.

Look at the endowed scholarships, the Satterfields are still there.

Yep. Could mean something, maybe not. He may just be trying to keep his foot in the door or just a guilty conscience. lol He would make a good future AD at App when he hangs up his cleats.
Don't you think?

Re: Satterfield- ACC Coach of the Year
Expanding on this logic, if someone gets a bachelor’s degree from App and then goes on to get a graduate degree from another institution, that person is now a former Mountaineer.
Yes, I am being facetious to make the point that both are Mountaineers.
