Looks like UNCC is working on motivating it’s football team. In the last few days players have had one on one face time contact with the likes of Michael Vick, Greg Olson and Luke Kuechly.

Our guys are getting motivated by App legends, rings, and it’s just our culture to work harder.

No dig at our program. Just found it interesting that they could get one on one time with true NFL stars. I’ve also been wounding what our coaches have been able to do to keep things moving forward. I visit a park in town about once a week and I’ve been seeing a high school coach out with a small group of guys. There aren’t even any local place open to train much less something like the guys are use to having. Hope the guys are getting creative and finding ways to get that strength and conditioning done.

Maybe the NFL players could call each of their students and alums.

Well since they have only 1 alumnus who got drafted but hasn’t suited up yet I think it’s nice that those guys said hello.

Those fellas gonna hate social distancing in Club Lit.

To be perfectly fair to those guys they had Larry Ogunjobi drafted in the third round in 2017 and pretty darn good. Also last year they had Nate Davis drafted in the third round and he started 12 games on the OL for the Titans.

Please don’t let facts get in the way of a good dig!

FIrst time here in a long while, so I hope you are all healthy and doing well.

In addition to Larry Ogunjobi and Nate Davis, this year Alex Highsmith was drafted by the Steelers in the 3rd, Cameron Clark by the Jets in the 4th and Benny Lemay was signed by the Browns as an Undrafted Free Agent.

We do appreciate the NFL guys speaking to the team. Meetings have taken on a different meaning this season, and bringing in those guys, plus Cody Zeller and Asst Coach Ronald Nored of the Hornets, Panthers coach Matt Rhule, and a variety of professional motivational speakers has been a good way to add value to Zoom meetings.
