Missouri does not have the weapons on either side of the ball against Bama. I don’t miss HC Drinkwitz, but I do miss OC Drinkwitz. Has a good balanced offensive scheme, calls a good game, tries to find mismatches and dictate tempo as you gain momentum.
GIVE 'EM HELL APPS!

It will be interesting to see if he can build a program there. He had the keys to a Cadillac last year, I'm not sure many folks could have messed it up the way we were stacked to start with. I don't wish him good luck or bad.

$330,000 tonight, congrats Drink. Take care of your family and if possible donate to the Yosef.

Drink’s team covered the 28 point spread. Congrats. Wish him the best in the SEC. I can’t fault him for doing what is best for his career and family.

I'm not going to pull for or against him. No matter what happens he has the last laugh on us all because his bank account is much bigger now. Some on here who are butt hurt need to move on. I think Drink was smart for taking the job. I think Missouri was taking a big risk and will find out if it was worth it or not.
I went to App and I can assure you if a SEC team wanted to pay me millions to leave my job making a few hundred thousand at App I would take it. It would be dumb not to.
I think we have fans who were butt hurt when they would have done same thing. If Mount Union offered him a 7-year, 60M deal tomorrow and offered to pay the buyout then he would most definitely go to Mount Union. It is all about the money and he now has more of if than the rest of us. Good for him.

Dont care what happens to him. I knew when he took the job he would be gone in 2 years with the talent he inherited. My biggest problem was when he said this wasn't a stepping stone job. You would have to be a fool to believe that and an even bigger one to say it

He said what he thought he needed to in order to make people feel better. It was like when Scott said he felt he could not do anything more at App so he took on the challenge at Louisville. He also said Louisville was his dream job. All of what Drink and Scott both said was BS and political. The truth is that Scott left for a big paycheck and Drink came to App because his salary was bigger than being an OC. He also knew App would be the ideal stepping stone to get his dream salary from a P5 head coaching job. Drink left us solely for the money. If Gillin had the money to pay him 6M per year and offered it then Drink would have stayed.postalapp90 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2020 4:29 pmDont care what happens to him. As I said before, if a D3 school offered them 7-8M per year they would have gone there. It is very rare that a coach would turn down life-changing money for his family.
Our fans really need to move on and stop bringing up Missouri and Louisville. I wish them both luck but I love App State and I'm not going to spend time harping on how Drink is doing. He is going to make millions whether he wins 2 games or 10 games. Good for him.
