Well it’s called coach speak for a reason haha and i can guarantee you it ain’t specific to him. Again, the constant jabs that are thrown at a dude who got us to 13-1 (and while yes it’s a unique year, a loss to Marshall shows it ain’t the easiest thing to do) is mind blowing and a super petty look for a fan base.bigdaddyg wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 12:10 pmIf Louisville struggles all year the diehards will ask why they hired some coach from that little N.C. mountain school.

And hold on four plays from inside the 1 yard line to hang on for the victory. I’m happy for him.Appstate88 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 2:17 pmDrink takes the lead over Coach O midway through the 4th Qtr.

LSU looks terrible. Can’t believe their DC is getting paid $2.3m a year to have that result with that talent.AppinVA wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 2:45 pmAnd hold on four plays from inside the 1 yard line to hang on for the victory. That said, great win for Drink, very helpful to get a ranked W in his first year there.

Re: Satt’s 2020
He would need to have 3 losing seasons in a row before they get rid of him. After what he did last year and with how crazy this year has been nobody is going to hold these newer coaches to the fire when they don't win every game that was expected. Louisville knows they had a lot of work to do and have to get players. This does not hurt him in long run. If he does not show improvement in 2021 and 2022 then I would imagine they may evaluate him but it would be stupid to put him on the hot seat. The man had a winning year in 2019 and is just in his second year. lol

Re: Satt’s 2020
Auburn would be a great destination for a football coach, if Saban wasn't still in the same state, division, conference. They literally just fired a very successful coach because all their fans care about it keeping up with Bama. Satt would be wise to not go to Auburn until Saban is gone.

I’d stay at Louisville and prove myself. Money is no longer an issue for his family’s security.

Isn't that the truth. Not to mention the mastermind behind beating Michigan. Our program has a lot of names that got us to where we are but I can't think of one more important to the program than Satterfield.Yosef10 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 1:24 pmWell it’s called coach speak for a reason haha and i can guarantee you it ain’t specific to him. Oh please. He drove the car for one year to a financial windfall. He did what was best for him which is fine but he’s not immune from critique.Yosef10 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 1:24 pmWell it’s called coach speak for a reason haha and i can guarantee you it ain’t specific to him. Re: Satt’s 2020
More pressure to butt heads with the GOAT Saban for a few years? Sure what's $2-$3 more million a year and a chance win generational coin on a Jimmy Sexton structured buyout in what could be early as 3 three years. It's stupid money on a buyout and not even the end of the line, these guys always land on their feet somewhere. Show me the money! There is no loyalty or school spirit for these guys except to the color green. Will Muschamp has made $40 million at being a failure at 2 schools... Sign me up!

This is the list you want to climb. Those are the top 10 jobs to have. If you are a ladder climber that is the peak of the mountain. Once you hit the top 10 the only real order is what part of the country do you want to live in.

Re: Satt’s 2020
Just pointing out the fact that y’all constantly critique the guy who went 13-1, but constantly avoid critiquing the guy who went 8-3 with basically the same talent. Being the jealous ex-girlfriend is never a good look. Neither is treating the new HC with kid gloves just cause you like the diploma hanging on his wall.Seattleapp wrote: ↑Mon Dec 14, 2020 8:34 pmOh please.
