All in on Coastal
Hear me out. I know we wish it were us and some will nitpick because their coach talked about playing Troy this weekend. But all that aside. Every App fan needs to root like hell for coastal to get to a ny6 game and win it! They are our rival but personally i am loving what they are accomplishing This year. It’s good for their program and good for the conference and by proxy good for us. The better the sunbelt does, the more clout we gain moving forward.

I agree with you. Can't be us this year, but if Coastal can get the NY6 game and win, it will boost the Sunbelt.

I get the logic but I'm pulling for UL. If Coastal wins, that's fine but I won't be in their corner during the game.

Re: All in on Coastal
They shot themselves in the foot for conference-mate support when they pulled a TR*MP and decided to make an alternate reality whereby a long standing scheduled game, albeit shuffled on the schedule, was being touted by them as "unnecessary"! That's bullcrap, Troy deserved every right to play the game and get their fair shot at the champs, just like the rest of the schedule had. For Chadwell to just dismiss them pisses me off, Troy is one of the standard bearers of this conference that paved the way for the likes of Coastal!
With that said, I agree on the level of importance to the Sun Belt that they win out.

Sorry but we don’t recruit in Louisiana but we do in South Carolina so I don’t want them to have any recruiting edge over us...not sorry. Geaux Cajuns

I hope they both lose the conference championship. Yeah yeah, I know that isn't possible, but one can dream.

I understand what you’re saying, and, as always, I wish the conference well in the postseason, but that’s the extent of it for me. Coastal’s one season where everything breaks their way is entertaining and admirable, but we hardly need Coastal Carolina to make us look good. I’ll watch the SBC championship game, but could not care less who wins. I’d rather see an undefeated SBC in bowls, than more hot air blown up Coastal’s arse.

I just can't pull for CCU. Hoping ULL wins the championship. Third time is the charm right?

Re: All in on Coastal
If Cincy loses the winner of the SBC game will have the best G5 resume. I don’t buy the narrative we need CCU to win as they aren’t going to let them pass an undefeated Cincy anyway.

Re: All in on Coastal
You make some fair points. We could also really use the money from a NY6 payout should they make it.
No way I'm "rooting like hell" for them, though. The whining is too much for me. If they keep winning, good for them and, to a lesser extent, the league. If they lose, oh well.

Chadwell is a chode and roosters are peckerheads. I’m going with the gumbos.

Re: All in on Coastal
Sorry, but further inspection of Chadwell’s comments suggests that he’s feeling the pressure and not built for the moment. Don’t see them winning SBC.

Re: All in on Coastal
Pulling hard for ULL. Chadwell is already a blow-hard. He will be totally obnoxious if they get the NY6 bid. Not rooting for the Beach Chickens.
Re: All in on Coastal
Hope the Cajuns come in hotter than a pepper sprout!! Have no real animosity towards the chickuns but UL has paid their dues and have battled the Mountaineers for that belt.

Re: All in on Coastal
So I understand this. We want Louisiana because coastal is having too good of a season? This board looks pretty petty. If Louisiana was undefeated everyone would be for coastal. If this was Southern I’d get it. But as it is, it looks like sour grapes. I’m happy coastal and Louisiana are having great seasons. We had our shot and lost. Why are we throwing shade on them?

Re: All in on Coastal
I think most people who have jumped off the Coastal train have done so because it appears that Chadwell is a twat and a whiner of epic proportions. That’s why I have, anyway.
Give 'em hell!
