Great guy and good coordinator, but no way Marshal should want him as head coach.

This is an example of why an AD can't always listen to the players.

He will be starting with a higher level of talent. And that will also make recruiting easier. Charlotte fans seemed to fault him for recruiting not being what it should have been. He may fall back into that but he might be able to ride Marshall's history a bit more that Charlotte was certainly lacking and, well continues to lack.

It might also be being DC is where he thrives and HC is not his expertise.

Looks like it’s between him, Dwayne Ledford, and Alabama’s RB coach. I would be surprised if it’s him, but it would be hilarious to see him be successful there (other than their game against us obviously) and make concord look that much worse

Would satterfield make ponce the OC if Ledford leaves? Seems like UL would want a “bigger” name to replace him. I know he has been with satt since day 1, but always seems like he has somewhat minimized Ponce’s role
