Re: Troy at Coastal
Hard to believe that McCall was actually ok to come back out. I can’t recall seeing a guy get rocked and puke on the field, stop before he gets off the field, do it again, spend a few minutes in a tent, jog a little bit, do what looked like a police sobriety test then come back to play. I would hope that the Coastal coaches and training staff didn’t just let a concussed guy go back in.

I think they did. He was definitely off when he came back in.bigdaddyg wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 7:36 amHard to believe that McCall was actually ok to come back out. I can’t see how he would fail concussion protocol and be allowed back on the field. If that’s were the case, then there would be, or will be blowback. A Doctor isn’t going to risk his career and I can’t see Chadwell risking his livelihood by putting him back in. I get that people don’t like Chadwell, but I think some of you are seeing what you want to see.goapps93 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 10:42 amI think they did. Re: Troy at Coastal
He may have passed but it didn't look to me like he should have been back in. He took a big shot the play before the one he puked after. I think they took a chance. McCall is probably feeling it today.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 12:13 pmI can’t see how he would fail concussion protocol and be allowed back on the field. I made sure to say “I would hope that they didn’t.” I agree that none of the staff should have let him back in if he wasn’t good to go. I just could not believe that a guy would throw up twice and be good to go back in that fast. I doubt he was eating corn dogs on the sideline and that’s not a normal occurrence. It was really just a random observation not a slam on Chatwell or the team.

Re: Troy at Coastal
I'm thinking the medical staff had McCall go down again before getting to the sidelines or he heard his coaches telling him to go down. Very smart given the situation as this allowed the back-up some extra time to warm up before coming in while the staff attended to him on the field. Had McCall made it to the sidelines, the refs probably signal the play clock to start and CCU is forced to bring in a "cold" QB.
Gutsy fake punt call by Chadwell towards the end of the game. If that fails, Troy has a short field with plenty of time. Thought Chip did his team a disservice by not going for it on the last 4th and 1. Vidal seems to be a handful to bring down based off that no gain run where he broke like half a dozen tackles. Guessing Chip will now go for it on any 4th and short situation against App.

Re: Troy at Coastal
Well, the coastal players were holding up 3 fingers for the 4th quarter last night, so…
(I get it’s probably recognition that they’re through 3 quarters, it just doesn’t make much sense since literally everyone else recognizes the 4th is coming up).
Give 'em hell!
