Some intriguing match-ups this weekend and for those who want to see App ranked for the SBC championship, some of the games this week will test your allegiances.

Friday:
The #21 Aztecs take on Boise. Am I seeing this correctly? According to the ESPN app, this game kicks off at 12p (EST) tomorrow in Cali. If my math is correct, that's a 9am local kick time. App needs Boise to win.

(some of you will need to get ready to hold your noses)

Drink's Mizzou travels to #25 Woo Pig Sooie. App needs Drink's Tigers to prevail.

Mack's Heels take a short bus trip to square off against the #20 NCSU. App needs UNC to take out the Wolfpack.

Saturday:
#18 WF travels north to play BC. App needs the Eagles to beat the Deacs.

#22 UTSA faces off against App's last bowl opponent in NT. App needs Mean Green to pull off an unlikely upset.

The Palmetto Bowl sees #23 Clemson match-up against USCar. Probably the most even these 2 programs have been in recent memory. App needs the Gamecocks to win.

Just for App fans' amusement and because many like to see them suffer, a bowl bid is on the line when Club Lit travels to Tidewater. Both programs sit at 5-6 going into the game and a bowl bid is just the type of momentum each needs with future conference moves on the horizon. A loss by the Whiners would mean they would be 1 of 2 FBS teams in NC not to make a bowl this season. #GoMonarchs

What we need is for all of the top teams to get beat in the championship game. If Cincinnati,UTSA, San Diego St.. I know unlikely but the NY6 is group of 5 conference champion. I guess Houston would be ranked higher if they beat Cincinnati.

Yeah I didn't bother putting #24 Houston traveling to UCONN who's lone win of the season came against Yale by 6 points. However, if the stars aligned and the Huskies win and then your scenario plays out (losses by UC, UTSA & SDSU), it would be interesting to see who makes the NY6.

Houston would drop from the top 25 after losing to UCONN and App v UL could potentially be two top 25 teams squaring off in the SBC Championship. Winner could possibly sneak in to the NY6! It's more likely Houston would jump the SBC winner with a top 5 win but a loss to a hapless UCONN would look ugly on their resume.

There’s a part of me that can’t pull for South Alabama, but they’re playing the beach chickens, so I’m conflicted.

Cincy will probably win this one 30-3 ultimately and then might ultimately get destroyed by Georgia or Alabama
