BAMA VS UGA tonight

CFP Championship tonight. Who you got?
I would like to see the Dawgs break the 40+ year barrier but would put my money on them. I think the Saban factor will put the dark side to victory once again. Got me thinking about Napier and 40 analyst thing, something App needs to be looking at. Hard to beat something that has schemed every second to the ninth detail.

I want the game to start at 7:30. West coasters don’t care about CFB.

" I think the Saban factor will put the dark side to victory once again."
Not sure what this means?

ESPNU XM radio often refers to Lord Saban in Darth Vader terms. Its a Star Wars analogy. Sorry, was trying to be cute. My wife doesn't get my humor either.

Go Dawgs!!!
The Dawgs have always been my #2 since my father and most of my extended family went there. I grew up pulling for them. That SEC Championship game was painful to watch, but I'm hoping that Saban played his hand and Georgia will be more ready. I think Smart flat out got out coached in that game.
Georgia should have been the 2017 champs but Bama got a huge assist by 4 major bad calls in the 4th quarter. I know...sour grapes, but those calls were possession changing and allowed Bama to come from behind and steal the game. Some of you remember what I'm talking about. IN 2018 Georgia out played Bama for most of the game but Kirby Smart got cutesy trying to get Fields into the game. He gave that one away at the end.
Georgia has the players to win. If they don't get completely out coached again, I'm hoping they can finally get it done.

I could really see this way going a bunch of different ways with either team winning. Before the SEC championship game I told my sister's family (Bama alums and big fans) that Bama would win the SEC but Georgia would win the National Title. Of course, I wasn't expecting the total dominance that Bama showed over Georgia in that game. I really wonder if Georgia has what it takes between the ears after a whopping like that. There is no doubt that Georgia has the players and coaches to get it done and win the National Title. There is also no doubt that the previous sentence could have been said about a lot of Georgia teams in the last 40 years and none of them have been able to get over the top for what ever reason. If Georgia can be mentally tough enough and prepared for this game then they should win, but that is a big if. Safe money says Bama. I honestly have zero idea what is going to happen and just hope to see a good competitive game.

Like him or not, Booger McFarland put it pretty succinctly. Georgia has the best team, but Alabama has the best QB. Can Georgia play like they are the best team?

I agree. This game has the potential for a huge variety of outcomes. I keep hoping that the old "hard to beat the same team twice" mantra works out for the Dawgs.

Fortunately, it didn't work for ULL two times previously....but it did work out this time for the Dawgs. Go Dawgs!

Expand the CFP, because it seems that with only four teams, blowouts are what people want to see. We need to see more. Win your FBS division and you are in, as well as an automatic bid for Notre Dame. That leaves 3 at large bids in a 24 team field.

Well I was pulling for the dawgs and ol Vince. In spite of the refs pulling for Nick a little, the Dawgs did it. Speaking of dawgs that is one ugly one for their mascot

. But what would a Ga game be without it? Great tradition. We have .... oh yeah.
Congrats Bulldogs.

I guess I can pull the App Football flag off the pole now. I figure there's always a chance until the final game is done.
Congrats Dawgs.

I do believe injuries to Bama (2 1st round WRs out and playing 3rd string CBs) helped UGA more than the refs helped Bama - At the coin toss, I said to my wife, Oh Hell, this game is in trouble - when they announced the refs were from the ACC

Yeah, poor ole Nick. Had to run with his 2nd string 5 star studs instead of his 1st string 5 star studs.
