Say it ain't so, RoyBoy

Unread post by asu66 » Thu Jun 06, 2013 4:52 pm

Another superlative for UNC MBB...

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/unc-leadin ... ncaab.html

Wonder why Roy and his AD don't trust the "facts" as stated by the Durham PD? Durham isn't likely to be interested in history revision. Hairston's age, 20, should be in his favor unless he's been down this road before.

Faulcon is a soph guard at Elizabeth City State; Sanford played at Union College of KY. Both hail from Durham.

Probably the same reasons we didn't trust the facts on any of our recent "issues". Have you ever seen a school or pro team come out and condemn their players as soon as it happens? :o

This story may be far from over as well. Durham PD have confirmed with ABC TV 11 that a gun was found at the scene, outside PJ's car. They are supposdly running forensics on the firearm this morning. This could get real interesting

See, one more reason the AD's & Coaches of the world never comment quickly. They're bound to look stupid either way. If you go with the initial report, it's a little weed, not that big a deal. Now, bring this into play and you got a lot more to talk about.

Saint - don't let your anti-blue glasses get in your way. Same story if it's a Hole, Dookie or Fudgepacker, or heaven forbid, one of our own Apps.

Maybe we should do away with "Other Schools Athletics" folder if we are not allowed to post in it???
What is this folder for?

Butch none of those programs wrote a book about doing things the Carolina way, none of them pretended to be better than others. If you are looking for something good to be said about that type of attitude you came to the wrong place. Hypocrites

Fine with me. Unless it somehow relates to App (like Sun Belt schools facilities) I don't care to see it here. I don't care what unc ch ncsu etc do unless it impacts us.

ASU- No Equal
UNC - Carolina Way

Which seems more to say "I'm better than you?"

I'm sorry, but that is all I see about Duke. But luckily, I don't care about any team other than App!

Every athletic department has a slogan they use. Greatest show on turf in the mid-90's for us.

Comparing the No Equal campaign to the Carolina Way is a streeeeeetch, nice try tough.

Never seen the book, but I'll take your word for it. EVERY school pretends to be better than others. Hell, even WCU thinks they're better than us and that's laughable. Not looking for anything good to be said about them, just hate for us to be hypocrites too.

Never been a fan of "No Equal"

But since you asked, Carolina Way says "I'm better than you!"

I don't like No Equal. But it was more to do with us winning three straight national titles which hadn't been done in 1-AA.

The Carolina Way is a farce.
