Camellia Bowl
Tested positive for Covid this morning so I am at home watching the Camellia Bowl. GS vs Buffalo. Both of these teams look better than we did this season. A lot better. Low scoring but I like the play calling and execution. GS looks like a program on the rise. Next year should be interesting.

You shouldn't punish yourself just for catching Covid. Everybody has had it now.appfanjj wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 1:15 pmTested positive for Covid this morning so I am at home watching the Camellia Bowl. GS vs Buffalo. How is he punishing himself, by staying home from work or by watching the Camellia Bowl?mike87 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 1:18 pmYou shouldn't punish yourself just for catching Covid. Re: Camellia Bowl
I mean, we played GS, and they were not better than us. But we found a way to lose to them anyway.appfanjj wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 1:15 pmTested positive for Covid this morning so I am at home watching the Camellia Bowl. GS vs Buffalo. Yes. Feel like it’s a mild cold with a low grade headache.
Hope this past season was an aberration.

Glad my team doesn’t wear pants with a big GATA emblazoned down each leg. Fits Georgia Southern perfectly though. Embarrassing.

I realize I am a homer. Neither of these teams look better than App. St.

Re: Camellia Bowl
That Georgia Southern defense looked just like App. Buffalo was 12 of 19 on third down conversions.

I usually pull for Sun Belt teams in bowl games, however, I sure enjoyed seeing The Stink lose this one.

I brought this up at the school where I teach. We have kids who are planning on making a huge mistake and attending GA Southern when they graduate. They walk around schools with GATA sweatshirts and tshirts. How does that not break our dress code rules against inappropriate speech/images on clothing? Nobody in admin has gotten back to me yet.
