Re: Biff Poggi and his UNCC 49ers
Thing is, if our coach hadn’t stepped in it Charlotte’s coach would be embroiled in an internal controversy right now, answering question after question and getting berated by his own fan base the entire off season…but our coach tried to hit him with a high road “gotcha” and bailed him out. Now Charlotte fans are galvanized around Biff.
Let this be a lesson to everyone…even though it feels good you don’t always have to respond.

The good news I think is that even though Poggi is savvy enough to extricate himself, I don’t think he has the self control to not lash out when frustrated, which is bound to happen again. Hopefully our staff will let him wallow in the next one

Let’s get back to Back to the Future quotes, much more entertaining.

I think Biff should continue to be teased even if fans do support him more. When his ship sinks they will all go down together making them look more stupid for doubling down on him.

Why don’t you make like a tree, and get out of here.

True, but once you're in it, there's no high road. You're in it. Jumping in, then deleting Tweets and not doing anything else is the worst thing.APPdiesel wrote: ↑Sun Jul 02, 2023 10:38 amThing is, if our coach hadn’t stepped in it Charlotte’s coach would be embroiled in an internal controversy right now, answering question after question and getting berated by his own fan base the entire off season…but our coach tried to hit him with a high road “gotcha” and bailed him out. In a way, we bought Biff the equivalent of that sports almanac.T-Dog wrote: ↑Mon Jul 03, 2023 1:41 pmTrue, but once you're in it, there's no high road. You're in it.
