Re: The Biffster
Already not a fan of this guy, but I do find it interesting the number of P5 guys who are transferring into UNC Concord. Some want to think its due to them having played for him in high school. Others have different opinions. Either way he isn't doing his team any favors with the behaviors.

Re: The Biffster
26 out of the 52 newcomers to Charlotte this season played high school ball at Saint Frances Academy in Maryland, where he coached 2017-2020. They're a national powerhouse program (and ruffled a lot of feathers), so it's not a bad thing, but it's fascinating that literally a quarter of his roster came from the same high school.

Re: The Biffster
Time will tell how this experiment works out for concord. In the meantime, this overweight clown is doing no favors for the niners.
I get what he’s doing, uncc is irrelevant and this at least gets their name out there. Going to be a lot of teams on their schedule ready to kick their heads in and shut this clown up, so we shall see.
It is amusing to see their fans rally around him. IF, he is a failure, they are going to turn on him in the blink of an eye.
Here’s to hoping he fails, and these antics are just another black eye on that clown program.
GO APPS!!

He made like a tree and got out of there.

Re: The Biffster
He's setting himself up to needing to win this season. Charlotte avoids Tulane and UTSA on the schedule, but I'm not sure about their staff, especially on defense. Their DC has never had an on-field college coaching job. The DL coach is straight from Saint Frances and an LB coach who was a grad assistant last year. Their most impressive defensive hires, IMO, were their DB and safeties coaches.

Nobody wants to hear questions about your market size, light rail, or airport. If you can’t talk about your winning seasons, conference titles, bowl wins, and fan support, take a left.

I see what you did there, and I approve.
I just hope he understands his place in the pecking order.

Classy guy. Easy to dislike. Wasnt homie a hedge fund manager before all of this? Pretty sure he will or has already bought some short term gains , but cream usually rises to the top and poop finds its way to the bottom. Nice hire Concord.

Re: The Biffster
Inquiring minds wonder about how many of SFA's top 22 football players are recruited from the academics-challenged Baltimore City Schools on an annual basis?

:::Grabs the popcorn::: This will be an interesting season to watch. If they don't win fast, that team's morale will be deep in the toilet.

He is definitely going to need results. Anything else.......

.
They were excited that they sold out at the last minute. 15,000 + SRO. (we used draw more for High School Football games at Charlotte's Memorial Stadium in the 80's). Of course, SC State brought their band to help them reach capacity.
