No sir/mam, I am not confused. I apologize for not knowing the intent of every college coach in the Nation. I definitely did not foresee him leaving for Indiana. I thought he would have been more selective given his age and the state of JMU when I posted that. November 20th for the record. Weird to still care this much? Perhaps you have too much time on your hands old man.Saint3333 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 3:32 pmConfused? Especially if they are denied in the courts for eligibility. Based on what I heard from him at gameday, he is from that area and valued the job

HAHAHA, looks like someone is on tilt. You don't understand the business side of CFB, it's ok you'll learn.
Have a great night.

Re: Cignetti
?
I’m nowhere near a tilt actually and understand the business side of CFB quite well.
It actually seems like the opposite. Still a lot of day left, most of us don’t go to bed at sunset.
If you have this much issue with me, feel free to DM me so we can work things out in a cordial manner.

Re: Cignetti
From your posts about NIL and coaches you clearly don’t.
I am being cordial, you unfortunately have not.
You seem to be confused often.

Re: Cignetti
Let me see if I get this straight:
My posts supporting an NIL collective show I don't understand the business of CFB? Explain that one to me please because now I really am confused.
My post of believing Cignetti wouldn't leave JMU this season shows I don't understand the business of CFB? Indiana had to go back to Cignetti and offer him more money to get him to come, so I believe my post was accurate at the time of writing (November 20th, once again) that Cignetti himself did not plan to leave JMU this season.
It is clear I hurt your feelings somehow. For that, I apologize. Your generation is tougher than mine, but you appear to be an outlier.

Re: Cignetti
I’m not surprised at your confusion.
You thought Cignetti wouldn’t leave due to his age and he’d be patient. You likely underestimated his age, which is strange given the importance of that on most of your posts. He’s 62 I’ll save you some time.
You now believe Indiana had to go back to him? JMU was never close to any dollar amount Indiana offered. It’s called negotiating, don’t be naive.
Why didn’t you go to DMs first rather than attempt to call me out and reengage. Notice there is no question mark there.
Take your L and move on.

Re: Cignetti
Every time i see a post on this thread, I hope it’s confirmation of who JMU is hiring.
Alas, we wait with bated breath.
I’m having a nice spicy Italian sausage in red sauce over pasta for dinner.

Re: Cignetti
JMU officially hired Chesney from Holy Cross today. I assume that puts them in position for the transfer QB, Sluka as well from HC.

Try some sauerkraut with weenies and a side of fried corned beef hash. Goes good with a Mountain Dew.
