I watched a handful of Miss State games this year, and it was like Deja vu. I’m sure he’s a decent fella, but Barbay deserves some blame for underperforming last season. Watching the Miss State offense is almost exactly like watching App last year. I mean, Miss State brought back all the key pieces of a team that won 9 games last year and have stunk it up.

He would have wasted a year of Joey no doubt.

We probably would not have had Joey if Barbay this year. I thought Ponce had the relationship when at the U. Not knocking Barbay as one cannot compare what an OC does here versus somewhere else no matter if he has or does not have key pieces back at a new team. TBH, I was not real happy with the return of current OC ( or maybe overall coaching staff) after 5 or 6 games...as our only "go to" pass was a throw down the sideline to 8 that was always contested. Whether OC or coaching staff as a whole, I am very glad for changes made during the season. With that said, I believe we are averaging about the same number of points per game as last year.

I Hate the Gumroots from Georgia the most. Not sure who I dislike more JMU or Coastal, but tomorrow all of us will likely
have an invisible streamer in our pockets. Assuming we hold our end of the bargain and don't pull a VMI game. hope those rotten bastards from Harrisonburg don't intentionally lose to spite us.

Do not forget Marshall. It is funny how the Sun Belt conference has gotten the band back together with Marshall, Appalachian, Georgia Southern, and James Madison. Coastal and Georgia State are the new kids in town.

Clemson tied 7-7 with South Carolina.
Clemson opens with Georgia and then App next year. Could be a rough start to the season for Dabo and company.
