You'd think, no, right? After all, a player entering the transfer portal is intending to leave his program for another, and may be seen by some as quitting on his coaches and teammates. But there is actually no rule preventing a player in the transfer portal from playing in the bowl game of his former team..per 24/7 sports

The teams that will look at mccall are trams that need a one year stop gap while they receuit/train their next QB. Teams with up and coming QBs who already showed promise probably wont touch him for his age and injury history.

Several of them are good players for Coastal. I wonder what is going on down there.

Most of them are grad transfers. If not for the transfer portal, you wouldn't hardly hear about them. It's whenever you get down to Georgia State where you question things when many players from underclassmen to graduate transfers are leaving.

I saw a video interview he just did where he said he told them he was staying and then the next week they brought him in and told him they wanted to go in a different direction, so he entered the portal. I've heard nothing on the teams part...but I haven't really searched either. I assume they meant McCall.

LOL. He was the starter and sat himself to not lose a year of eligibility and transfer. I’d want to go in a different direction as well.
