I happened to be at the UNCC website last night as I like to check in on our in-state frenemies once or twice a year, when we are not playing them.

It was noted they have yet to sell all of their UNC-CHeat tickets they have been allotted. Some of their posters even commented on how it would be a very bad look if they have to give tickets back given that App and ECU sold out (and I would add, likely picked up some from UNC-CHeat fans along the way.)

They are also not expecting much this year it would seem. Of course one has to play the game and things can turn around and players step up during the season but it sounds like they would be happy with 4 wins.

My point is that is the usual for them. The way the post was worded made me think their fans think it looks bad this time but when has it ever looked good by them? I also don't spend one second of time to see what they think because all that matters is we play them some and kick their butts. They have a long way to go to be relevant in football and clearly all 6 of their fans should realize that.

My point is that is the usual for them. The way the post was worded made me think their fans think it looks bad this time but when has it ever looked good by them? I also don't spend one second of time to see what they think because all that matters is we play them some and kick their butts. For a team coveted due to their TV market the fact they can't average 25,000 for home games is pretty bad. We average way more and we have often been overlooked for not being in a market.

There use to be but the NCAA got rid of it in 2023. I was among those who thought we really needed to raise it but the NCAA did the wrong thing, as they often do, and got rid of it all together.

They average over 22,000 so they would be fine. If they are worried about them looking so bad then the ACC never should have invited them. I do think they will do like App and see a bump in moving up to a higher conference. I would expect SMU to average over 25,000 with their new schedule.

Those most affected would have been MAC and CUSA which would have lost several teams each along with Charlotte and a few couple Sun Belt schools that would have had to go.

They average 12,400 in home attendance? We have that many students that attend our games. And nearly that many in season tickets!!

SMU averages 22k in ticket sales. They do not have 22k butts in seats. Don't believe what you read, believe what you see...

I agree with your statement about CUSA and MAC schools.

Regarding KBS and our sales...I feel we are now in a position that Nebraska was in a few years ago. They had a record for consecutive home sellouts. The administration wanted to expand the stadium but weren't sure they could sellout the seats right away. They asked the fans and they came together and got the seats sold.
