Vandy player to challenge for 7th year of eligibility

Unread post by appdaze » Tue Sep 16, 2025 2:16 pm

As the title says. Guy wants a 7th year claiming anti trust violations. If this link doesn't work you can Google it as well. NIL will create many more of these situations. I can see a lot of late round draft potentials or players with no nfl prospects but quality college stats hanging around for some extra NIL paychecks. We will see more 24, 25, 26 year olds playing.

Wow that was fast. Im guessing he figured out behind the scenes that it wasn't going to happen so now he's walking it back. I would say Yahoo Sports ran with something they shouldn't have, but you also don't hire a lawyer just for kicks.

So is his lawyer doing it in general still and Diego is just saying he won't do it or does he mean nobody is challenging it? I figured it was just a matter of time until someone challenged it. I bet there are some players who would play college football for a decade if they were allowed to.
