Texas St. may be one of disappointmemts in the SBC. I seem to remember that were selected as potential West champs. Now on ur way to 0-4 in conference.

I bet the Pac (whatever number) 2 (?) is super excited to be welcoming Texas State into the conference next season.

TX State freshman QB looks pretty good. Not much D on either side in the first half.

The Dukes made that look easy.

They likely end up with a one loss season and just inside the top 20 like us in 2019. Will be interested to see if they get sent to play another top 2-3 AAC team in their bowl. I figured the AAC winner gets the CFP spot this year.

All I can say is I am still pulling for Joey. A very long shot for Heisman but legit shot at a playoff spot. Tenn defense needs to show up and they have a tough remaining schedule left starting this weekend and Vandy is in Knoxville too which helps some.

I remember when this was unequivocally true. Pavia makes that outcome a crap shoot.

Coastal embarrassing Marshall. Marshall has turned ball over about 100 times

Don't look now but things are lining up for JMU to make the CFP.

Say what you will about Coastal (all of it would be true), but they understand what makes Coastal, Coastal. They embrace the Dirty Myrtle of it all. The marketing and in-game folks for App could learn a lot about identity and branding from the Chants.
A lot has been typed on this board about what App can do better regarding in-game crowd interaction stuff. Almost all of it boils down to keeping and establishing tradition and embracing the rowdy-rebel-happy-Appy-chip-on-the-shoulder-working-class-hillbilly aesthetic that defines Appalachian State and the WNC region.
The short time that Yosef came out onto the field on a four-wheeler was quintessential App State, and I have no idea why they stopped doing that.

Navy's on the inside track, but JMU has as good a shot as any top G5 team right now. I'd love for App to ruin that party.

Navy's is getting to the difficult part of their schedule over next four weeks.

Listening to some “experts” break it down yesterday and they believe any two loss AAC champion is ahead of JMU, and San Diego St. is ahead of JMU right now.

Regardless, I’d love to see us eliminate them from the picture, but I don’t think that’s in the cards this year.

I will never pull for JMU to make the playoffs.
I could care less if we "should be"pulling for SBC teams. Nope, not gonna do it.
CCU and Stink can be included on that list as well...

Good thing we will never have the opportunity to pull against CCU and Stink making the playoffs.
