They never came to us. They did a story on us by Tom Rinaldi after the Michigan win. But they have never broadcasted gameday live from Boone. Next week gameday will be in Fargo ND, LIVE.

This is a really big deal for North Dakota State and FCS in general. I know there are not many good games this week on the FBS schedule but to actually do the entire GAME DAY show from the campus of North Dakota State is unbelievable to me. I wonder what the thinking at ESPN is on this one.

Maybe that's people are tired of see the same FBS teams year after year that don't mean anything to them.

ESPN shows have been declining and Gameday only use to average 1.5 million viewers anyway. Maybe they're trying to get fans from some of the other schools interested.

Their list of conquered FBS foes exceeds ours. Yes, the Michigan win was huge but since that point we have no FBS wins to our credit. I think we can stand to share the FCS banner with NDSU.

They are not going to be on campus or at the Fargo Dome. They are broadcasting in front of some historic theater. The NDSU fans are livid and have been blowing up the ESPN twitter. So much so that officials at NDSU have publicly begged them to stop. Officials are asking fans to come downtown rather than tailgate at the Dome as usual. It'd would be comparable to ESPN coming to Boone and setting up in front of Mast General Store. Same place I read this the director of game day called NDSU the Alabama of the FCS.

if u recall, asu's stadium didn't look too impressive after the michigan game...still under construction. ndsu has earned it i suppose with their natty chmpships...and tailgate...but they should go to montana...much better experience. yes, i have a bromance with montana...and wish they and ndsu moved to sunbelt
