Actually, I'm surprised by this game. I didn't think Charlotte was going to dominate NCCU like they have the non-scholly and D2 teams the past two weeks, but I actually thought that they would pull this one out and it would be James Madison (next week) who gave them a wake-up call. Charlotte has some good athletes, but they appparently have some significant issues on both lines as well. Their DL is getting pushed around and they cannot stop Central's running game to save their lives.

It was bound to happen sooner or later this year. After last week's game, I got a txt from one on my employees who went to Charlotte. He was giving me a little grief and saying that he wished they can been playing App (joking around). I laughed and told him to keep dreaming and enjoy it because they weren't quite ready for App yet.

I can't think of a fan base that deserved a big slice of humble pie more than them.

Wonder how many of their fans will be lurking over here after that whooping..

The difference being we have actually won games and championships against legit competition. They haven't.

I pick on UNCc fans because they're an easy mark. It centers around entertainment value moreo than anything else.

Notice I never use MMB as a venue for such trolling because I don't like the idea of validating them on THE App message board.

Also, I didn't mean to come off in any disrespectful way to the OP. Just saying I'm not surprised they got raped by a team with scholorships.

I understand that but we have done an awful lot of chest pounding about being too good for FCS, beating GA, going undefeated, and for a long time being too good for the SB. Well it has been a while since we have won a championship and we are now 0-2 against FCS competition. It looks like next year could be a challenge also. It may just be time to support the team with all our might but maybe keep it toned down a little on the boards as it has been for the last couple weeks. That's all I am saying.

Thanks for the assist. That is part of the deal. Part of the chest pounding is how we are just too good to be playing in the SACON. it is JV, remember? Well at this point we have lost to 2 JV teams. So again it might be time to tone it down for a while. I mean really our last conference championship was in JV

ASU needs to be concerned about ASU.

The amount of UNCC concern/glee/angst/interest from this message board, for a team that we supposedly have no interest in, or fear of, is almost embarrassing.

Until ASU stops getting "bent over" I will refrain from jumping on the "let's bash UNCC" train.
