Unconfirmed but rumor is that Ball State OC Rich Skrosky will leave Pete Lembo's staff to become HC at his former employer #Elon.

according to my Elon guy - he was at or near the top of the list a couple of weeks ago - the question then was if Lembo got a better job (like WF) if he would go with Lembo ---

If he shares Lembo's proclivity for looking the other way while his players are trying to break the legs or blow out the ACLs and MCLs of opposing players, I'll propose an old Johnny Carson toast to him...

"May the slime of a thousand cesspools encrust the interior of your locker and shower room; and may the fleas of a thousand camels infest your clothes closet."

If he's a legitimate good guy; then "may the good Lord grant your team the speed and talent to accelerate Mickey Matthews' retirement decision at JMU."

That's real talent...he apparently accelerated Mickey's retirement before the speculation even began.

Jeepers, Jerry; I completely Mickey's firing. We were at the beach that week and all anyone could hear was USC-Clemson and Coastal Carolina.

Hmmmm, that was an ugly Thanksgiving gift for MM wasn't it.

No problem, Chuck. I think things had gone down hill since their NC and this year they failed to make the playoffs by falling apart down the stretch. Not sure he was full in on the possible FBS move up.
