That's the best job he could get given his success?

Underwhelming

Well he did skip an entire level of football.

This pretty much guarantees that NDSU can do no more than tie our threepeat.

the NDSU fans are having a melt down on the AGS board, for the last year they have been in denial about him leaving, got to admit this is a big surprise...freckin Wyoming?

NDSU is losing a lot this year.

Competitors want a challenge he's got one at WYO.

it will be interesting to see how many assistants he takes with him, if he takes most or all of them, kinda like pouring "salt on the wound". Kinda cold blooded to announce and leave right in the middle of the playoffs, but, in his defense, this is the prime recruiting period, he needs to get on the recruiting trail for Wyoming if he is going to bring in a good class and get started on a positive note.

that pain they are feeling over at AGS, is the pain of knowing that their 3peat chances just got slimmer. hopefully the beach chickens of CCU pull off the upset

I have trouble feeling bad for them. I haven't been to AGS in years, but visited today to see the melt down. Their fans are notoriously arrogant and they're losing it today. They really have a misguided view of their place on the football ladder and they're getting a dose of reality today.

Regarding our 3peat, this puts in perspective how hard it is to maintain a championship level for this long.

They are still the clear favorite. In fact I think this helps them down these last three games.

CCU loses by 20 Saturday.

If Bohl and staff coach this Sats. playoff game Bison win. If the game is being called by assistants left behind because He, the OC, DC, and some position coaches are gone, it's up for grabs.

FARGO, N.D. -- North Dakota State coach Craig Bohl will continue to guide the team though the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs even though he has taken the job at Wyoming, the school's athletic director said Sunday.

Doesn't appear that the announcement of Bohl's departure had any impact on the Bison today. They absolutely crushed Coastal. I think it a fair bet that they win their third in a row.

EW is the only obstacle and I doubt they can stop them. They did have a pretty easy path with FU and CCU but that is a benefit of being the best.

Wyoming did in another good FCS Coach - Joe Glenn. Think Bohl is up for the challenge though...and being a Lincoln native...even decent success at Wyoming can probably land him that gig.

If Ron Wellman had a clue, Wake Forest would have thrown that private school bank at this guy. Someone like Bohl could have brought a different style that MIGHT have made a difference. (See David Cutliffe) Personally, I enjoy seeing my Wake buddies eat crow every year, but now their just resigned to it. Maybe Clawson will work out, but I'd have went with Bohl.

No way. Wake nailed their hire. A guy who knows how to recruit private schools from his Fordham & Richmond days, and was very successful at BGSU. He built the Richmond team Mike London won the title with, and BGSU absolutely mauled an excellent NIU team in the MAC Championship last week.

Winning big at a public FCS school w/ tremendous fan support wouldn't get Bohl ready for the challenges that come with the Wake job. He made the right move too.
