I was told last night that he will NEVER play again and when the semester is over, few more days, he will be finished. McDonald will come back, but PJ is done!!! We should be hearing something really soon.

I was told last week by a friend who is a former Carolina player that every indication he got was that he would not play again --- I still don't see that as the eventual outcome however ---

It's interesting that people are saying that PJ is absolutely done. Miykael Faulcon, who was in the rented car with PJ and tied with the same felon Hayden "Fats" Thomas, was cleared by the NCAA yesterday. Not sure how similar or different their cases are, but if Faulcon, who has priors, is cleared, then maybe PJ being done is premature.

Just read where UNC did not apply for reinstatement of Hairston - so he will not play this year ---

PJ's parents statement:

"We are displeased with the University of North Carolina's decision not to submit the necessary paperwork to the NCAA requesting to have P.J. reinstated," the statement said. "This process has been long, and for (it) to end without having a final decision from the governing body is a shame. Ultimately this affects P.J., and his eligibility to play Division 1 colligate (sic) basketball for the remainder of this season, as well as next season."

Translation: come on guys this in Carolina, surely your joking. I mean, all you have to do is ask and it will be granted. All he did was take some gifts he deserved anyways. Damn, I already spent the signing bonus.

Same as the amount of posts given to this topic. If you notice there is an entire forum devoted to "Other Schools Athletics." Why is Liberty's espoused religious beliefs given so much debate on here? Why was the Duke Lacrosse players' accusations covered on the MMB to the extent it was? etc etc etc

Carolina's athletic program has been discussed on here countless times. As you may recall, they are frequently called Tar Holes and UNC-Chapel Hell as well as being frequently chastised for not playing us in football.
You might want to ask the moderators and administrators why we have a forum entitled "Other Schools' Athletics."
