Just saw that GSU has given Army permission to speak with Monken

Take him and let us start poaching some of their recruits

Jim Grobe has come out and expressed interest in the Army HC job as well. I don't have a link but you can find it on football scoop where he mentioned it on a radio interview in Charlotte.

Army is pretty serious about Monken if they are asking permission to talk to him, could not have come at a worse time for GS, like us, they need a really strong recruiting class to get off to a good start in the Sunbelt, now, recruits are going to second guess going there, hope our coaches are taking notes and maybe make a few calls to some of their recruits

according to his twitter account he has switched his commitment to App!

J'vonte Harrod and Daryl Rollins both have offers from Southern. But Harrod is the one they really want and they're not alone. He's got a lot of offers to chose from.

this works for me on so many levels. ARMY will finally get a heck of a coach of the TO and APP may steal some GSU recruits. love it!
