Glad it's for Tennessee and not App. He is undoubtedly a skilled coach but not one that I would want representing my university or coaching our student-athletes.

this is the kind of fan who is tired of losing and has put winning above everything else, he doesn't care if Pearle brakes every rule in book. Whats sad about this is the present coach has done a really good job, he just missed the tournament last year, and Tenn is expected to receive an atlarge bid this year, what the fu@@## does the Vol's fans expect? I bet he and his coaching staff feel real good, thinking they have done a good job only to read this garbage, well. Tenn fans have never been known for having alot of class.

He's not going to end up going to Tennessee.
Cuonzo turned their season around - and, if they beat South Carolina tomorrow they're probably in the tournament. Cuonzo ins't going anywhere.
Pearl will be hired by a decent program and he'll have them relevant in a year or two. And, he'll also have no further run-ins with the NCAA. My bet is Auburn hires him.
This isn't someone like Calipari with a long history of NCAA infractions. And, the fact that someone like Calipari has never had any NCAA sanctions is an absolute joke.

I agree Pearle isn't going to be the headcoach of the Vols but the point of the article is you have a coach doing a great job at a school that traditionally is not a national power in men's basketball, and you have this "fan" and maybe, maybe not, 30 thousand sign petitions demanding Pearle be brought back...wow, really?!! I don't think I have ever heard anything like that before.
