Liberty is going to be a lot tougher game than some people think.

Well yeah, from what I've been reading the Liberty peeps have circled this game as a win. I really really hope we don't acquiesce to that line of thinking.

UNC is overrated as usual. Admittedly, Liberty is tougher than expected but UNC's journalism school is the only reason they're ranked.

If we sleep on Liberty, they will beat us. I see only one gimme game on this schedule and that is next week.

App has some ground to make up in the next five weeks if we're going to beat Liberty. They were much better than we were today.

Why not?

They played much better than we did. Wasn't close. Hopefully it was a fluke. But they were also better than us last year.

So the Tar Heels = UM. Give me a break. They are an over rated bunch of cheats like they always have been. ACC football is a joke minus Florida State. We could have been ACC champs with 65 scholarships in 2007. If GSU had not laid an egg late the Sun Belt would be 2-0 against ACC.

Troy lost to UAB by the same margin we lost to Michigan. Do I think we are better than Troy? No, but at the same time its a telling number. By the time we play most of these teams we should have a new starting QB as well. Lamb looked sharp with zip, unfortunately for Kam you cant teach arm strength. We outgained Troy in total yard today against a much tougher D than UAB's. ITS WEEK ONE PEOPLE, STEP OFF THE LEDGE AND ENJOY THE SEASON.
Appalachian State, Better than your school since 1899!!!!

Try not to let your burning hatred of UNC cloud the issue here. What terrible teams like Wake or State did is irrelevant, as is anything that happened in 2007. And unless Michigan turns out to be dramatically overrated (i.e., top ten), debating them vs. UNC is splitting hairs.

Liberty was better than App tonight. If you can't see that, you're wearing some thick Black and Gold lenses.

I'd sure be worried if I were a Troy fan. Worst and most disappointing Week 1 showing for any Sun Belt team.
