NCAA to vote by 5pm Tuesday on Georgia Southern appeal.


Anyone heard anything about the App decision?

Just saw this.



Georgia Southern’s final appeal to play in a bowl game this year was denied by the NCAA, person w/ knowledge tells @USATODAYsports

If thats true its kind of a bummer. I think they deserved to play in one.

Has there been a definitive ruling for App? I would imagine that we are also denied but I have not read as much.

We should just go ahead and schedule a "game" with the Gnats somewhere in South Carolina.... I bet it'd be a money maker if it's done right. :D
One game does not a postseason make.

It is as it should be. There is a rule to cover this. First year no bowl. If that is not the right thing to do then the rule needs to be changed not ignored. Besides that is it really good for the SB to bring more attention to the fact that two FCS transitional teams are in the top three of the conference and bowl eligible?
