Per ESPN's Brett McMurphy, Clemson LT Isaiah Battle will forgo his senior season to enter the NFL Supplemental Draft.

With them losing 6 starters on defense and 7 total DL (including one dismissal), the kicker being suspended, and now a starting LT going pro, do we have a fighting chance?

Granted, they have the #2 ranked true freshman OT in the nation to fill his spot

EDIT: Apparently he has a child on the way and is trying to do the best for his family. Can't blame him if he has NFL talent.

they got a lot of talent, but its so young and inexperience I think we atleast can give them a good game, maybe stay relatively close into the 4th, say this, I would much rather be playing them at the beginning of the season than towards the end, once all that young talent learns how to play, they are going to really good, but they will be vulnerable the first 4 or 5 games. I think it also helps they are playing Wofford the first game, 1. Wofford runs an offense totally opposite of App, they will not have a week to prepare for us, 2. Any team that plays against the triple option offense almost always comes out of the game with more injuries than playing a traditional pro offense because of the blocking schemes of Wofford, wouldn't surprise me to see them alittle banged up going into our game. I would be disappointed if we didn't put up atleast 3 tds and 350 plus yds of offense, just don't know if we cant slow them down on defense.

Mitch Hyatt, a true freshmen, will be the starter. Attack, attack, attack and get to Watson's blind side all game long. Go Apps!
