Starting DT. Bad loss for Clemson.

Remember that comment from Chapman about running it down everyone's throats? I say App should do that versus Clemson.

He was a starter on the last 2 deep. Of course, they have a 5 star, albeit true freshman in line for the spot.

wow, their starting defense is almost entirely made up of freshman and redshirt freshman, I don't care how talented they are, if we cant run, and move the ball against, what essentially is an all star high school unit, than we don't deserve to be on the same field with them. Clemson might score 45 on us, but there is no reason for us not to put atleast 30 on them.

Every time we run for 5 yards that is 30 less seconds their offense is on the field.

We'll see how well Wofford can run on them week one.

talk about awful timing, Wofford is the worst opening team for Clemson to play, they might have a better chance of beating Clemson than us.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them hold us early just because they're talented and fresh, but as the game goes on and their D-Line starts getting tired, starts making mistakes, I think our experience will start to win over.

This is starting to shape up as a win for the team that can protect the ball and go four quarters in the heat. Turnovers will kill one team in this game, IMHO.

6 months ago, I would have told you there was almost no way we could beat Clemson, now, with all the changes on defense, I think we atleast have a chance, don't forget, anytime you play a option, t bone, whatever the hell you call Woffords offense, you take a physical beating on your defensive line with all the cut blocking, and that will effect your play the next ball game. Again, I am not saying we will win this game, Clemson's offense is going to be one of the best in the nation, but, I'm definitely more hopeful that we can make this a close game late into the fourth.

I love the optimism, but we are still three TD dogs at minimum on paper.

its impossible to handicap these games, against VT years ago, it looked like on paper we had a real chance to win and we all know how that turn out, but you have to admit, things look much better now than 2 months ago.

That team that took the field vs VT wasn't prepared that day.

The two times I've seen App look like they're going to lose coming out of the locker room was VT 2011 and at Furman 2013.

I think the Clemson-Wake game is a 21 point spread. And as a wake fan also, I can say without a doubt App is much better, maybe light years better than wake. So the line should be closer, but lines are only there to get equal money on both teams. Or thats what Jimmy the Greek says.
