Looks like ODU's move to the FBS is paying scheduling benefits.

If we can ever get into FBS, I could imagine UNC, Wake, NC State, Duke being more interested in scheduling us.

It must be taken into consideration on this that Norfolk is in the middle of one of the recruiting hotbeds on the East Coast - Tech relies on players from Tidewater and battles UVA for the talent - playing a game there makes sense - don't know but I would doubt they would be as receptive if ODU was located in Harrisonburg as is JMU ---

Perhaps, but Tech hadn't shown interest in scheduling ODU prior to their being an FBS team. Beamer said that since they were an FBS school in Virginia, then the two should play.

I agree - I was making a point that if both ODU and JMU were FBS I don't see VT going to Harrisonburg---
