Just announced. 4 p.m. on Saturday vs New Hampshire at Legion Field, home of UAB.
That leaves GaSo with only four home games, three on Saturday.

Stinks for the students and locals but Birmingham will actually be closer for the Atlanta based fans. Better safe than sorry. I'm surprised they didn't book the Georgia Dome since it is apparently now available.

Interesting that they played while Hugo was making landfall a couple hours north, but are moving this game when the storm won't reach GA for a day or two after the game. Overreaction thanks to media hysteria.

UAB has offered to host all GaSo games this weekend - soccer, football, etc. Good job, UAB!

Could be an over reaction or it could be a lesson learned.
Pretty classy move for UAB to host the GS games!

There's much more playing out here than just what the weather will be in Statesboro. Most of Florida is evacuating ... north. The ripple effect on gas availability and travel will certainly hit Statesboro / Savannah long before Irma does.
