Miami at stAte cancelled

We have had more than enough App folks make excuses for the U playing the weather card to get out of their game in Jonesboro. Since we all are apparently knowledgeable enough speak on behalf of the canes, and the magnitude of this situation, I will too. The canes ain't the least bit skeered, they just have no interest in traveling to Jonesboro.

For the record, I actually think that cancelling the game is a cautious and reasonable call. I think that their statement said they believed the kids should be able to be with family. That being said, if they go somewhere as a team and continue to practice, it is hard to argue with the state fans who think this is just an excuse to have extra time prepping for their upcoming game against a vulnerable FSU team.

We're talking about this right now on ESPN-Upstate...It sucks when something you've been looking forward to for years gets cancelled at the last minute so I understand why stAte fans are upset but this is life...it's more important than sports. Get over it Wolves fans.

I get why they're upset, but in reality STaTE would've been blown out of the water by Miami. At least with the canceled game they can save face and not have another embarrassing loss as they do 4-5 times a year.
