I’ll take Shemar and Shaun all day, everyday! We’re gonna light them up on both sides of the ball. I would say all 3, but our special teams has been suspect.

Re: Ark State / Ga State
Provided our team is “healthily” healthy, I’m not overly concerned about either stAte or GaSt, just based on defense. I’ll say though, I don’t think there will be a single game all weekend, more entertaining than what we’ve seen the past two nights. THIS is college football, and I’m damn proud of our conference!

ArkState's OL is not handling the front four well at all. It's been fun to watch so far. They don't call it the Fun Belt for nothing!
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

Serious question... How do these games wind up 4+ hours with 2 minutes left?! Extra advertising money to make up for Covid losses? I’ve wondered this all season (even during P5 games).

If App wins a game this season against either of those teams from last night and we give up 600 yards of offense and 50 points this board will go into absolute meltdown. A win is a win but STate completed 40-57 passes! I can’t recall ever seeing a completion % like that (with that many passes and completions). Fun game to watch but a little defensive effort is good to see.

I think that scenario would equate to Sherm and Jolly being in quarantinebigdaddyg wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 8:13 amIf App wins a game this season against either of those teams from last night and we give up 600 yards of offense and 50 points this board will go into absolute meltdown. No way in hell they score 59 points on us, no way! And, to be fair, no way we score 52 points on them either.bigdaddyg wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 8:13 amIf App wins a game this season against either of those teams from last night and we give up 600 yards of offense and 50 points this board will go into absolute meltdown. Games with throw-heavy offenses tend to take longer because the clock stops a lot more.booneboy92 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 10:44 pmSerious question... Our corners are the real deal. I’m not at all worried about either of those guys. Jean-Charles my have the best hand eye coordination I’ve ever seen.bigdaddyg wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 8:13 amIf App wins a game this season against either of those teams from last night and we give up 600 yards of offense and 50 points this board will go into absolute meltdown. Arkansas State, Ga State, and CCU will all challenge our Defense, but I do believe our D is up to the task!

We will be rested and hungry. Bunch of 20 yr old athletes, they haven't lost anything missing only 2 weeks. Next up better look out.

Agreed. Two competitive games from initial kickoff to final seconds.booneboy92 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 9:14 pmProvided our team is “healthily” healthy, I’m not overly concerned about either stAte or GaSt, just based on defense. Based on what I saw of Arky State's running defense, I would not be surprised if our rushing total wasn't 300-350 yards. Ga. State averaged 6.6 yards per carry and was getting 5 yards at a pop on dives up the middle.
