Re: SunBelt Bowl Projections
As long as ULL is bowl-eligible and keeps bringing 20,000+ fans to New Orleans, I expect they'll keep getting invited back, regardless of the standings.
USA to the Camellia Bowl would seem to make sense if they are eligible.

Re: SunBelt Bowl Projections
I find it odd that the writers did not place a MW team in the New Orleans Bowl when it is SBC vs. MW this year. One picked a MAC school and the other a PAC 12 school. Wonder why? It would be great to have the PAC 12 school, but don't really think the SBC wants to play all three bowl games against MAC schools!

Re: SunBelt Bowl Projections
Guess they must be projecting that the MWC won't have enough eligible teams to fill all its tie-ins. New Orleans is bowl #6 for them. Looks like a pretty decent chance they'll eventually get to six bowl-eligible teams, but not a given.appstate2007 wrote:I find it odd that the writers did not place a MW team in the New Orleans Bowl when it is SBC vs. MW this year. Re: SunBelt Bowl Projections
Looking at the ESPN standings page, the Mountain West doesn't look like they will fill their slots.
