Couldn't happen to a better team... Hud kept saying all week their D played well enough to win against us.... What is he smoking they gave up like 402 total yds to like 250... He needs to realize his team SUCKS OUT LOUD......

I don't think you have anything to worry about.

No .... GaSt will get the last spot at 5-3 ... unless somehow our game counts for two even if they were to win they'll just be 4- 4... GaSt will be 5-3....

It's all but confirmed. No way it changes win or lose. We are going to Montgomery. If we win GaSt to Orlando. If we lose it gets interesting for USA and GaSt. One will get an at large in what might be considered a better bowl. It will be significantly outside of our footprint though.TheMoody1 wrote:AppOrange wrote:I hope not, i'm going to be out some serious hotel and air fair money if we are not in Montgomeryfalcoapp wrote:If USA wins, does this put USA in the GoDaddy and us possibly in play for Orlando?

I believe I heard on the pregame show, one will go to Orlando and the other to the Arizona Bowl, if both GA State and USA win.

Re: The Battle for GSU
I think we all revel in Ga Southern's loss today but we better pay attention to what can happen if one team is motivated and the other seems to be going through the motions. Of course, Southern destroyed State last year and probably didn't have the same kind of motivation that I hope we have based on what USA did to us last year.

They'd better come out ready to play in the 3rd qtr. S'bama has reason to hope after the way we collapsed in the 2nd period. Not a performance to write home about!ASUTodd wrote:Keep in mind..... This could happen to us. Hope our boys are paying attention!

Okay, I held off until after our game. LO effing L. This is the best thing that could have happened for our conference. Now we fill all our tie ins and get to share that payout that would have gone to another conference. On top of that we get to have a good laugh. FCUK Ga So!!

Re: The Battle for GSU
I'm sure nobody will be surprised...
"Arbuckle’s play in the second half, in which he passed for 216 of his 346 yards, was partially the result of Georgia Southern’s student section. When Arbuckle came out at halftime to work out with the receivers, he said some people in the student section said something about his deceased mother.
“They said the wrong thing,” he said.
That’s when Arbuckle said he knew that he was going to play well in the second half."
