Other SB schools losing players to Transfer Portal

Lord I would hope that a school doesn't use a player's high school rating as a criteria to take him. A guy could have been rated high and barely played in college. What's the point of the original rating?

Every situation is different, but this is a mediocre QB that will likely be given a chance to start next year. If he's looking to transfer down and get a better education somewhere I get it, but players like this aren't moving "up" the food chain.

It makes sense for QB's with limited college time that are sitting behind an NFL caliber qb or 2.

Wow! Even if true, that's a heck of a thing for a coach to say. I hate it for the kid. Hope he gets something.

You have someone paraphrasing (probably in a very poor manner) what a coach said. Be very surprised if Huff stated that direct. Kids are getting very negative and, sometimes, threatening commentary on their social media pages and or general pages from keyboard warriors who probably do not know what a football looks like. Some players can ignore it. Some have a more difficult time dealing with it.

Also you could argue that Rubinos missed kicks were the best thing to happend to Appalachian football b/c it prevented Satterfield from getting big time offers sooner which ultimately helped the program develop further.

So Thank you Michael Rubino for all you did and thank you for transfering away when you did
