Ga State-Txt State

1st Quarter. Tx State 14-0...two long drives...didn't seem to have any trouble with GSU defense.

What a turn around!! I went out and came back to see that Ga State righted the ship.

Our offense isn't good (especially without Marcus) and TX State has a good one. That simple.

Let's see - we have played 2 teams ranked in the top 10 and have beaten ODU and Akron who are both undefeated in their conferences and GA State - "our offense isn't good" ??? - Why do you play the game??? ---

Wow. I thought GaSt was going to lay down. Big win for them. They just might be better then everyone thought.

Agree, offense isn't good? We are 3-2 and have a damn good running game. Passing is getting better. Geez

For the other conf game today. Any thoughts on Idaho and ulm? Idaho that much improved or ulm down, or some of both?

Idaho has an outside shot at 6-6. ULM is likely the worst team in the conference though.

What is going to really gnaw UI fans and alumni is if the Vandals actually make a bowl this year or next and then have to go back to FCS. According to their AD, he really tried to keep them FBS and was in fact working on an independent 2018 schedule before Idaho's president essentially came out and declared that they would be going back to the Big Sky.

Texas State is in a massive rebuild. They overperformed in beating Ohio. Withers purged that program of softness and is very thin all over. He's recruited very well so far for 2017.

Georgia State won because Trent Miles has built up depth over the last three years. They just need their QB to "get it" to be dangerous.

Going to be interesting to see if GA St gets to six wins. They'll beat UTM, ULM, and Idaho w defense alone and then need two from USA, GS, and Ark St.

Idaho can get to six as they still have NMSU, ULL, and Texas St.

If Ark St beats USA this weekend they may have an easy enou schedule the rest of the way to go bowling as well.

GS is going to have to beat us or GA St to make a bowl.
