I know it's way too early in the game, but USA is up 14-0 and looking good against Troy!

This is also one of the potential sites for a bowl game that we may play at, Mobile is a great town.

Time to make our game with Southern a trophy game like this one. We have not played for the Old Mtn Jug in three years. While it was a lopsided rivalry, it was a good tradition. We need to team up with their dept and figure out something. Somebody mentioned a few years back a teacher's paddle, with both schools beginnings as TS's.

Black and blue bowl.
I hope Troy's QB missing WRs like this against us, they should be tied.

Silvers has a quick release, he was very accurate last year at Kidd Brewer, we barely won in OT. Our CB's are going to have to be on their game if we can't get pass pressure on him.

I don't want to share anything with Georgia Southern.

South Alabama has forgotten how to tackle.

Meanwhile Miami got hammered by VT tonight.
The "we lost to two top 10 teams" and "every P5 we play has their best season ever" ships are taking on some serious water the past few weeks.

I can't tell if it's a sign of toughness they keep pulling these close games out, or if they're just playing with fire

They had a couple unsportsmanlike penalties early on in the game and I think the coaches told them to lay off on the knock out hits and the fear of being called for another 15 yarder probably got in their head

We will HAVE to pressure Silvers. Our "cushion" coverage on receivers won't work if he has time to throw.

I'd prefer a Mountains to Sea game with Coastal.

True, Silvers had a lot of time to throw last night.

I was impressed with how many fans, especially students showed up for Troy in a road game. I believe they may have had a bigger crowd than South Alabama did.

USA was only their second win by single digits this year.

They average 37 a game and are giving up 20. (Those numbers are helped by a couple of huge blowouts). They are currently the #1 rush defense in the league and lead the league in interceptions. This Troy team is the real deal and will require our best effort. However, we have much worry about before we even see them.
