Bowl scenario question

Unread post by AppSt94 » Sat Dec 03, 2016 2:35 pm

Question for those in the know. If Ga Southern holds on and wins, they are 5-7. Are they in the mix for a bowl? Asking for a friend.

My understanding:

If they choose to apply for and are granted an exemption, they would be eligible to fill whatever bowls are left over. They cannot be selected before any 6-6 or better teams.

5-7 teams are chosen by APR results. My guess is they are too far down the list for consideration.
