WTen finished
MTen finished
MGolf have 1 of 3 days complete.

App State is not looking good. We have 4 more sports than the only two schools that we are outscoring in the Bubas Cup when one includes sports not yet completed, which is MGolf, Softball, and Baseball. OTF should help some in a few weeks.

The SoCon, as many remember, had separate Cups for men and women, but from what I can remember I don't think App has had this bad of a standing in Cup competitions since the mid 1970s. Not a good winter and so far spring for us Mountaineers.

And what really gets me is to be behind GaSo and to a lesser amount but still bothersome is to be behind CCU in points.

My guess is CCU will beat us most years as they bring a lot to the table. Ga Southern is another matter. In Sun Belt sports our only consistent success stories have been football and the running sports. Frankly, some of our teams are barely competitive. DG has a lot on his plate and has proven to be an outstanding administrator. Getting the overall athletic program off the ground may be his most difficult challenge.

GaSo used to a two trick pony, maybe three-Football, baseball and golf. Their women's sports were not good.

I do not want us to become that with only football and running sports. Though we do have some areas that will turn the corner I hope next year.

We do have some good academics with our sports and I am very proud of that. And that at the end of the day is the most important part in my view.
