SBC Bowl Games
Sun Belt faring well in bowls so far.
Troy takes out North Texas 50-30 in NOLA and GaSt looks poised to top the Hilltoppers in the Cure Bowl (27-17 with just over 2 min to play).
stAte hits the field in Montgomery in 2 hrs.

Re: SBC Bowl Games
I thought Troy would roll a NT team with no defense, but I’m surprised at how easily GA St won, great start.

Re: SBC Bowl Games
While I agree with the point you're making it is worth noting Ark State and Georgia State are playing teams that finished 6-6 with a 4-4 conference record. I will say though to aid your point, Co-Champ Troy beating division winning North Texas pretty easily does speak volume. I look forward to future games with Troy. Glad the divisions have us together.

Re: SBC Bowl Games
Yea lots of mistakes leading to MTSU points. Ark D looked aggressive as hell out of the gate.

Remember FAU also blew them out in the conference title game./\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 16, 2017 9:50 pmWhile I agree with the point you're making it is worth noting Ark State and Georgia State are playing teams that finished 6-6 with a 4-4 conference record. Re: SBC Bowl Games
North Texas has a garbage defense and Ark St make at least a dozen mistakes, what a frustrating game.

Re: SBC Bowl Games
I agree. I get losing games that you should win. It happens to us all. But Arky St. makes it an art form. They bring the perception of the conference down by finishing in the top half of the conference each year after crapping their pants OOC.

Let's not be premature about stAte embarrassing the conference. Not that I think we will but one never knows until the game is played./\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2017 11:49 amI will hold my thumbs up thanks until after App State plays.

Re: SBC Bowl Games
It’s not premature; they’ve been doing it for years. And yes, if we finish 0-4 outside the conference while sharing the league title that would be an embarrassment too.hapapp wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2017 12:49 pmLet's not be premature about stAte embarrassing the conference. Re: SBC Bowl Games
The SBC has never won the bowl cup, good chance if NMSU pulls off the upset. Would love it for that fan base and honestly a heck of a team this year.
