The Louisiana-ULM game just went final. Louisiana survived.

The teams were likely playing for a bowl invite, since a 6-6 G5 team has a much lower chance of being selected.

So, I expect these Sun Belt teams to play in bowls: Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Georgia Southern, Louisiana, and Troy. Here's hoping for another great showing by the conference in bowl season.

Odds for all Sun Belt bowls look pretty tight and even match ups.
Hope we all have a good showing like last year.

That’s one mother of a season.....

That win puts Troy at 10 for the season to join App and Georgia Southern as 3 teams in the east to win 10 games this year. What makes that even more impressive is that when we won 10 games a few years ago we were the first ever SunBelt team to do so and now there are 3 different teams in one division alone. We have clearly elevated the SunBelt in football from the doormat of the G5 to the second or third best conference of G5. Our top can compete with any other G5 conference. It's been a fun ride and looking forward to even greater heights.

I've said this more than once and I'll say it again, if we're destined to be a one trick pony, I'm more than happy it's football!
