I didn't have a clue where some of these schools were so I looked up the driving times. Not a small footprint by any means but if they have an Eastern and Western Division it isn't as bad as I first thought. Hopefully if WKU leaves we get something as close.

I know WKU may be leaving but but them down anyway.

George State - 300 miles, 4.75 hours
George Southern - 336 miles, 5.5 hours
Troy U - 481 miles, 8 hrs
U of South Ala - 628 miles, 9.5 hours
WKU 371 miles, 6.5 hours

Is that from Boone, or Charlotte? Not too bad, either way. I live in Atlanta, so I'm pretty well situated to get to all of those easily. Even if we added JMU or Chatty, it wouldn't be that bad.

That was from Boone.

If the Yosef Club would charter a bus that stopped in Charlotte, most of the times are not too bad.

Most folks do not live in Boone as you know I'm sure. Probably will bring a different mix of fans to attend away games. The biggest positive impact should be home game opponent quality and attendance.

For Charlotte simply subtract essentially 1hr 45mins to 2 hr from each of those trips with the exception of WKU.

Western Kentucky is 45 minutes longer from Charlotte, about the same amount of time from upstate South Carolina and Atlanta area as compared to Boone.

I agree! I originally made the chart so people could see what's the team's travel time was and that it wasn't as bad as I had thought at first (if they do two divisions and we're in the East).

Hopefully it will give our Ga., SC, Ala, etc alumni a chance to go to more games.
