The football team is currently coached by Todd Berry, who is in his fourth year at ULM. He is 17-20 in the last 3 years and 46-79 overall. Prior to coaching at ULM, Todd Berry coached at Army where he was 5-35 and Illinois State where he was 24-24 (last 2 seasons he was 19-7 with appearances in the I-AA playoffs. The Warhawks beat #8 Arkansas in 2012 and Alabama in 2007. They lost to Ohio in their first ever bowl appearance in the 2012 Independence Bowl.
