Arkansas State v Ball State
Stayed up and watched the GoDaddy Bowl in Mobile last night. Arkansas State displayed a lot of talent on both sides of the ball and looked like an App team of old.Very mobile qb and hard nosed defense made the difference in the game. Really looking forward to seeing how we fare next season with a full SunBelt schedule.

36k and some change.
Nothing like blocking a potential game winning field goal. I remember another team doing that, oh 6 years 5 months ago.

I feel for Ball State on that one. I can still hear the thud last year against Illinois State.....

I would have preferred it be called the "Eddie Gaedel play." Or even better have someone about Eddie's height and run the play then.TheMoody1 wrote:Arkansas St calls that play "hide the midget".
It was effective. The way we fall for fakes, I hope this is not used on us-I could see it happening.

The way things are in the world they better be careful calling it that. Several groups are probably planning on suing as we speak. Might ought to change it to "hide the little person"TheMoody1 wrote:Arkansas St calls that play "hide the midget".

I was surprised when the ESPN announcer blurted out that little gem. I am sure they will get some feedback.
