I'm leaving JMU off a they were a runaway victor in the who do you want poll. Also leaving of Lamar and Jax State as the generated little to no interest. I'm only including the second tier EKU, Mizzou State and third tier Liberty, UMASS, Coastal.

By process of elimination:

- Not EKU or Coastal because they're both reasonably close and have solid FB and BB.

- Not Liberty because the main argument against them is their social and religious views and I don't think that really has any effect on the other schools in their conference. Not really great sports but at least they'd be a travel partner.

- That leaves UMass and Missouri State. Wouldn't really like either because of distance, but UMass is my pick as the worst because they wouldn't even bring along their basketball, which would actually be a good addition to the league.

If they were bringing basketball with them they would have gotten a bunch more votes in the who DO you want poll IMO. They would have been my #2.

I little road trip every few years to New England would be kinda nice.

Benson said that Coastal Carolina is not even being considered anymore for whatever reason.

Least, for me, is Coastal. Small fanbase, and hurts our recruiting to have them level with us. Fine with Liberty or EKU.

Not to mention that a lot of their recruits couldn't get past admissions to ASU.

I don't want Coastal either, but you have to hand it to them for their recent performance in the 3 major sports. In football- winning at Montana, going deep in the playoffs and finishing ranked. In basketball- going to the Big Dance and Giving #1 regional seed Virginia a good game and Baseball- Finishing top 30 last year. We should have such results.
