Wonder why Idaho @App was not Oct 25 instead of Nov 29, both with open dates Oct 25?

I agree Steelman. I could understand if the Vandals had played an away game last week but they were home against NMST in the Kibbie Dome.

Wouldn't this give us three straight home games and conversely, maybe next year with three straight road games?

Just looked up Idaho's schedule and the Vandals didn't play opening weekend so this weekend is their only bye week once they played their first game. If they were to have played App this week, they would have had to play 12 straight games with their byes happening the first and last week of the season.

Not necessarily. The conference will fit the conference games around the already scheduled non conference games. So they will probably be played in a different order.

Idaho went to Florida in Week One, played one play and the game was cancelled due to storms and unsafe playing conditions. So they, along with the Gators, will only have 11 regular season games this year. And since Idaho has an APR postseason ban this year, it doesn't matter much for them.

Also, the Vandals have a bye the week before they play us on Nov 22. And technically we both have a bye on the week of Dec 6 (calendar gives 15 weekends this year to play) so if we played on Oct 25, Idaho would have all three byes after their final game.

T-Dogg you are correct! I just looked at their schedule and didn't see the Gator game listed. I forgot about the inclement weather issue.
