Cajun Field is listed at a capacity of 36,900 so I'd say in the 18-20,000 range last night.WVAPPeer wrote:What did their crowd look like on a Tue night? ---Saint3333 wrote:Seven minutes in and I know we are going to struggle with both of their offensive lines. When will "It's better than what we had" no longer be good enough for App State?

Re: Ark St @ ULL
Both teams looked really good on offense with some real speed in the backfield and some bulldozers up front. Both will be a challenge for App.

Don't think they will play then next year either. I think I read that the same teams play again next year.

Re: Ark St @ ULL
That is correct. Could very well win the league title without playing either of the other two top teams.WVAPPeer wrote:And GaSo plays neither of these teams - correct? ---
Wonder if that A-State AD who said there shouldn't be a league title game will feel the same way after that happens?
Re: Ark St @ ULL
Why would GS win the league title over ULL if both are undefeated and Ark St finishes 3rd?

Re: Ark St @ ULL
They wouldn't win it over them, per se - they'd be co-champions. But if ULL takes a loss somewhere and Southern doesn't, then you could have Southern winning the league title at 8-0 and potentially both ULL and Arkansas St. finishing 7-1.AppAttack wrote:Why would GS win the league title over ULL if both are undefeated and Ark St finishes 3rd?
Lot of ifs there, of course, but the point is that GSU is in position to win either all or a share of the league title without ever having to play either of their two closest challengers.

Damn. Georgia Southern will win the Sun Belt then this year. I'll be there in person when App beats ULL and makes them finish 71.EastHallApp wrote:AppAttack wrote: But if ULL takes a loss somewhere and Southern doesn't, then you could have Southern winning the league title at 8-0 and potentially both ULL and Arkansas St. finishing 7-1.
