Has anyone else noticed that SunBelt brethren New Mexico State only fields 6 men's sports?

However, they offer 11 women's sports.

I think that is bare minimum to be DI. With football being such large numbers one needs many women's teams to make up the difference.

We offer 9 men's and 9 women's sports you know.

And we only play them in one, and we haven't even done that yet. Football. They're in the WAC for all other sports.
